Service of Thanksgiving to Celebrate the Life of Reverend Dr Elizabeth Jean Brown ‘Liz’
On Friday 16 January, 2025, we gave thanks for the life of our friend and colleague Liz Brown.
We were so pleased to be joined by people from so many different parts of her life.
From churches and chaplaincy in Leeds to Food bank, History Society and Labour Society, as well as further afield including the wider URC and the Council for World Mission.
Streaming the service meant a good number of people from Liz’s 30 years of missionary work in Taiwan could pay their respects. We have also received many emails from her Taiwanese friends, expressing their condolences and gratitude for her ministry, witness and legacy.
